Good Morning Pioneer Baptist!

It’s October!

The following was published by the New England Journal of Medicine, on January 31, 2020, which was over eight months ago. “In December 31, 2019, China reported a cluster of cases of pneumonia in people associated with the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market in Wuhan, Hubei Province. On January 7, 2020, Chinese health authorities confirmed that this cluster was associated with a novel coronavirus, 2019-nCoV. Although cases were originally reported to be associated with exposure to the seafood market in Wuhan, current epidemiologic data indicate that person-to-person transmission of 2019-nCoV is occurring. As of January 30, 2020, a total of 9976 cases had been reported in at least 21 countries, including the first confirmed case of 2019-nCoV infection in the United States, reported on January 20, 2020. Investigations are under way worldwide to better understand transmission dynamics and the spectrum of clinical illness.”

Our lives have obviously been drastically changed, and we’ve been fighting the battle for eight months (It’s October!) with the end barely in sight, depending on which expert you listen to. President Trump initiated “Warp Speed” to hopefully deliver 300 million doses of a COVID-19 vaccine by January 2021, compressing what is normally a 73-month process into a safe and effective vaccine in 14 months, so that we might see good things.

Of course some people are blaming President Trump for the whole pandemic, and one of the election issues is supposedly his mishandling of a virus which was created by the Chinese, and which then became their leading export, all according, not to any Trump propaganda, but according to the NEJM as stated above. The same esteemed Journal cited 21 countries affected by January of this year, and it’s mighty hard to see how Donald J. Trump was the naughty man responsible for all of that. And, while one might think that all Americans would rejoice at a vaccine rushed to development to save lives, you’d be wrong if you were one of the one. The doubters and dissenters apparently believe Trump was the laboratory technician as well as the epidemiologist doing all of the research and development, and doing it all purposefully to dupe the American people. This would be a laughable absurdity and an impossibility, as the development of a vaccine is of course being handled by our leading pharmaceutical companies and their scientists. C’mon man!

Some people are doubtful of any vaccine, and that is their right. Some are either doubtful or resentful of whatever Donald Trump is and does, and that too is their right. But when they attribute science, research, and the disease itself to Donald Trump, let’s just say that I get a very bad reaction.

Stop whining you politicians and be at least reasonable! If the scientists say they have a vaccine, don’t say that it was Trump who manufactured it. And Speaker Pelosi, how about tabling your idiotic machinations of trying to overturn the 2016 election? The 25th amendment is your next irresponsible and irrational plot to remove the President? What next? Operation Crossfire Hurricane II? When a subversive plot to overthrow the government has its own name, something’s rotten in Denmark! (Sorry Denmark). Stop crying because the President has the right and duty to name a Supreme Court Justice under the advice and consent of the United States Senate. As Ruth Bader Ginsburg said, “The President is elected for four years not three years.”

It’s October and we’ve been at it a long time! Let’s at least stop playing politics with the Covid 19! And let’s think about the possibility that this could be the October of the Second Coming of the LORD, and the only vaccine for man’s condemnation is the “Gos-Pill.” And that’s regardless of whether Trump advocates it or not! It’s the LORD Who is in charge of R & D (research and development) and in this case, “R & D” also stands for Return and Deliverance!

It’s October!

Love to all,

Pastor
