“Who’s Unhinged”?

During a 60 Minutes interview that aired Sunday night, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said our President is “a deranged, unhinged, dangerous president of the United States” who “has done something so serious that there should be prosecution against him.” Essentially, President Trump is being held personally responsible for the knuckleheads who breached security and forcibly entered the U.S. Capitol, resulting in death, destruction, and vandalism. He also colluded with Russia and needed to be impeached, (oops, sorry – that was a lie perpetrated by Pelosi, Schiff, Et.al.) and he also had a treasonous conversation with the President of Ukraine, (oops, sorry, – also a lie) and now with one week remaining before

his peaceful end-of-term departure from office that Pelosi so desperately longs for, she needs to move ever-so-quickly and without historical precedent whatsoever in whatever removal proceedings she dreams might work.

Who’s Unhinged?

In what the New York Times called only a “passing suggestion,” even they admit that the President said that the protest should be nonviolent, saying, “I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.” It might be hard to hold the President personally responsible for crimes that he was not present for, did not participate in, and spoke against. (And which he has loudly condemned.) Nonetheless, here is what is happening as we speak: “The House will vote on the 25th Amendment measure as early as Tuesday and on the article of impeachment Wednesday — one week to the day after the deadly mayhem that has shaken Washington to the core and a week before the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden.” “We are calling on the vice president to respond within 24 hours" of passage, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said Sunday in a letter to Democrats announcing plans to introduce the 25th Amendment measure, adding that Democrats would pursue impeachment legislation next.

Here is some information that I copied from the internet, given in question and answer format.

What is the 25th Amendment in simple terms?

The Twenty-fifth Amendment (Amendment XXV) to the United States Constitution says that if the President becomes unable to do his job, the Vice President becomes the President (Section 1) or Acting President (Sections 3 or 4).

What is the only penalty for impeachment?

In impeachment proceedings, the defendant does not risk forfeiture of life, liberty, or property. According to the Constitution, the only penalties allowed to be imposed by the Senate are removal from office and disqualification from holding any federal office in the future.

What are the four legal reasons for impeachment?

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

From these we see that Nancy Pelosi absolutely, for the good of the country, must remove the President in the next six days because he 1) is unable to do his job, or 2) is guilty of treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors. And the penalties to the President if found guilty by the Senate? Well, really, there aren’t any, at least, none that won’t occur all by themselves in less than a week without a literal “Act of Congress.” That is, except for one little thing: He won’t be able to run for office ever again! Would he? Will he? Or is that a just a possibility that Nancy is unwilling to risk?

“Who’s Unhinged”

This is a laughable exercise on behalf of our Democratic party’s leaders, just like their five years of unhinged anger at the people of the United States in voting in such a despicable human being as President Trump. This is nothing but a last ditch “Hail Mary Pass” from petty political puppets that accomplishes nothing. The Media, Big Tech, and Very Small Politicians are playing out their fantasies and hatred for someone who has dared to confront their anti-Americanisms.

“Who’s Unhinged”? In case you haven’t picked up on my position, it’s Nancy in the Wonderland of Washington who is unhinged. Stay tuned!

Love to all,

Pastor
