Repeating, for those of you who might want to get up before the sun, it will rise at 6:23 a.m., and our Sonrise service will begin at 6:15 a.m. on Sunday Morning. The LORD Jesus Christ will have already risen, and the Tomb will be empty of His body and of His person. Yes, there will be a couple of angels sitting around, ordered there by Jesus to inform us by way of remembrance of what we should have already known, that the grave, absolutely, positively, had no chance whatsoever, of holding the God of this universe, The Almighty!
What a great season! What a great morning! What a great event! What a great blessing to know our Saviour, who knows us personally and has known us from before we were created! (Psalm 139:15-17 KJV) “My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!” Just imagine how blessed we are, how strong Jesus is, and how complete our victory is in Him! There was never any doubt about our victory in Jesus, but the Empty Tomb is the proof given to us. Jesus didn’t need the proof - we did, and now we have it, and Sunday we especially focus on it and celebrate it!
Yes, it will be the most unusual Resurrection Sunday Service of all time, but although there will be only the appropriate scattering of our brothers and sisters in the church auditorium, many more will be with us via our livestream, and we will feel their presence for sure. Rejoice in the resurrection! The resurrection of our LORD Jesus Christ, and our resurrection through our LORD Jesus Christ. (Colossians 2:12 KJV) “Buried with him in baptism (We were baptized by the Holy Ghost and placed into the Body of Christ by Him at our salvation) wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.” “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 12:13)
Celebrate the Resurrection! I know you do! Praise the LORD!
Love and Prayers to you all,
Pastor
