Good Morning Pioneer Baptist!

Yesterday was exciting as it was the first time ever for Pioneer Baptist to livestream its services! We thank Pastor Enoch for his work in getting everything “up & running.” (Great job, Pastor!) The livestream approach to our worship services will continue as long as the pandemic demands.

Our evening service had a whopping nine attendees, and with the size of our auditorium, we had no problem maintaining proper social distancing. Reports tell us that somewhere around 40 families were logging on, with folks as far away as Florida (the Rules) and Rhode Island (Paul Foley) just a sampling of the notables. Bottom line, we were able, as a Christian family, to worship together while apart. I know Satan is the prince of the power of the air, but I also know that the LORD Jesus Christ has Old Lucifer on a short chain, & He jerks it whenever He wants to! God is sovereign – Praise the Lord.

God moves in a mysterious way, His wonders to perform;

He plants His footsteps in the sea & rides upon the storm.

Deep in unfathomable mines, Of never failing skill

He treasures up His bright designs, & works His sov’reign will.

Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take; The clouds ye so much dread

Are big with mercy and shall break, In blessings on your head.”

(William Cowper – 1773)

Keep your head up so you can look up!

Love & prayers to all my Brothers & Sisters!

Life is a blast! Of course, it’s the next life that I’m referring to. This one is anything but. I don’t know how long it was before Adam and Eve pretty much literally “turned over the applecart” but t
